the PHiladelphia Phantoms took the first two games of the clader cup.

it's pretty impressive level of hocky, about 5 of the guys on the team played for the flyers. And the two goalies are easily better than half the goaltenders in the NHL.

The west would've been real hard to call. I doubt it woulda been SJ, you can't count on that many career years back to back & Vincent Damph is gone. I can't see that roster scoring a whole lot of goals. East woulda been Ottawa or Tampa. Oh who we kidding it woulda been Devils all the way.

Yeah I've been following them this year, with it being the only hockey going on in this town...Been to the series clinching game the last 2 series (Penguins, Bruins)...Going to game 4 on Friday...

I hear all the hockey illiterate sports writers say "oh even Original 6 markets like Boston & Chicago have weak attendence"

Yeah they also have the worst owners in the sport, there's only a handful of markets in all of sports throughout North America that would support Wirtz or Jacobs. Especially Wirtz what's up with no tv?
