So I have been posting for a week or so and figured that etiquitte dictates that I should properly introduce myself.

name:Joe
Age: 27
sign: capricorn

Location: I just moved down to Denver after finishing school up in the northern part of the state. I am originally from the midwest (Ohio).

Music: Blessed (or is it cursed?) with a short attention span my favorite music changes all the time but am willing to give just about anything a listen, but my taste tends toward bands with strong rhythm sections.

Other junk: I love cartoons. I also like to fool myself into thinking I can play bass.

Looking forward to participating in musical discussions and all sorts of other kinds of banter.

Oooh, they don't diss you by giving you combo gifts, do they? I had to suffer a lot through that as a kid. "Since your birthday is so close to Christmas, we're giving you a combo gift." It's the last thing a kid wants to hear. Sheesh!

Within my family it didn't happen. But I never got to really have any b-day parties or anything like that. It has gotten somewhat easier to get my friends to come out since they are all looking for an excuse to get away from their families.
