I can understand you trying to soften things a bit because he's your friend and all, but c'mon. I gotta call you out here. His post was constructed absolutely humorlessly and is one big flame. His tone is as dictatorial and elitist as they come. I personally don't really care what he thinks of the movie....I've seen plenty of flames on this flick in the last several weeks. I do care that he is acting like a complete ass.

hey. who gives a shit?

I'm booing the White Sox the way they've played some of these last twenty games.

Reread the last two sentences of my original post you just quoted.

It's gotten to the point where I'm just annoyed people react so strongly to any fucking film, to the point where they are insolent and extremely self-absorbed in their opinions. What ever happened to "just my opinion"? "Anyone who likes this film should be killed"??? Come on, man...lighten up a little. It would be one thing if his post had at least one sentence which made it an obvious farce, but frankly, as I said, it's constructed humorlessly and is recalcitrant to a fault.

To each his own, but I really enjoy the Senator's posts. I love the knee jerk heart on sleeve mentality.

That being said, I liked the movie okay. It'll never be my favorite, but it was entertaining enough. Maybe just seeing the conclusion to this 6 films on a iconic space epic was entertaining. I don't know. I don't carry the same criteria to movies that I do for music. If I go in and I stay interested and entertained, I'm usually happy. I was a little annoyed with the HUGE holes in the story. Lucas obviously didn't spend enough time making sure that it all added up. In the end it's for kids anyway, and the little kid in me liked it.

I think Miss Congeniality 2 just really sucks, and anyone who sees it is wasting around 93 or so minutes of their time. It doesn't have nearly the moments in the first one where she keeps kicking guys in the nuts and talking tough and hates having to be all "girlie".

The new one doesn't deliver and the acting is just horrible. I dare anyone to question me on this.

If you can't read the humor in that, you may want to brush up on comedy.

I am offended by how bad this movie is, sorry. Also, now, you are annoyed at anyone's strong reaction, but I'm supposed to lighten up?

I am annoyed by you crying all the time whenever anyone gets in your grill a little bit. we come here to talk shit, some of it funny, some of it serious, all of it off the cuff.

I guess I didn't put a winky next to my White Sox comment, but that was meant as needling.

I suspected you would run to the "really, i was just kidding and you don't get it" defense

Be offended by how bad the movie is. Your original post sucks, in my opinion, for basically telling people to fuck themselves if they see things differently.

That's how I see it, pussy. If you don't like it why don't you quit the board again?

I wasn't kidding, but it was and is a joke, fucktard. You really think I think people should kill themselves for liking a movie? I'm not Pol Pot.

I do question your sensibilities if you enjoyed this, being how it was shockingly bad, but to each their own.

None of the Police Academy sequels hold up to the other ones.

Gentlemen- please go to a neutral corner and end this thread.

Loogar- sometimes it's hard to see irony and humor in a message board post

Spade- Getting maybe a bit too worked up

Balls/Jimmy. I understand that, but if you read this is anything but a post to be inflammatory, maybe you are too stupid to live ;)

This whole thing is now funny, mainly because I like to see Spade cry, he's good at it.

I saw where you were going from the get go, see my original reply. I'd just rather get you guys in a lumberjack coal miner's glove match on PPV than have you pissing over this silly movie. Are you playing the heel or face in this feud?

I'm pretty enough to be face, but it looks like I'm the heel. I would prefer a "Pin anywhere in the building" match..or possibly me and Bloor vs. Spade and whomever on a scaffold (I'm old school)

And, just so you know, we call what my post is "Cutting a Wrestling Promo"

provenance: "Dude, I just a cut a fucking promo on Star Wars."

Get one more of the GA boys and you can be the 2005 version of the Freebirds. I'm assuming you're Gordy and Bloor is Michael Hayes, so you need to find someone a bit haggard to be the new Buddy Roberts.

Why I gotta be Terry Gordy, jimmy? I mean, Bloor's the dude with the penchant for utilizing the Oriental Spike. If Cap'n were a little more of a mean Whiskey Drunk, he's about Buddy's size. But I guess our man Harry Monster could do the dirty work of Buddy Roberts.

Oh, and I met Michael "PS" Hayes once.
