I'm gonna have to talk to a local booking agent because if Chalmette can get some of the good acts, we should too. By the way what brought you to Chalmette?

I went to La. Tech and had a two friends from there. Not 'Yats or anything, they both hated it.

I probably knew 20 or so people from Houma, but only one, maybe two, could I actually carry on a conversation with without wanting to set them on fire.

How old are you?

Oxnard? Why exactly would you go there? Gonna pick a few strawberries in the fields? If you drive further south...oh, like say, into LA, I'd be more than happy to meet up with you and the wife.

's all business related, I'm just lucky that my wife is able to travel with me. That week is really stacked for me.

I'm 28, and most people I knew there were my age or a year or two older and almost all I can remember off-hand were TKEs.

The only two people around your age I can think of is Brent Parker and Jeff Telford. I'm friends with Brent's little brother who also went to Tech. Jeff Telford I only know b/c we went to the same high school, but we've talked maybe once since he's graduated.

Ha. I lived two floors up from Telford. We had a few mutual friends, but never quite ran in the same group. I do remember for a while they were hiding out a puppy they found in the dorms.

Small world. We played football together. Talked to him a good deal then, but I wouldn't call it a friendship. He was a little too old for me in high school. Sophomores didn't exactly hang out with the seniors. I thought he was a pretty cool, but our relationship was pretty superficial. typical high school shit.

If you come down on Wednesday, Embrace are performing at The Troubadour that night (which is where I'll be). Dunno if that's your kinda music, but there are still tickets available. And if it is sold out, there's a great chance of you purchasing tickets from someone trying to get rid of 'em at the door.

Hope you can make it down. :)
