As a practical matter that's obviously a concern for people. There's the glaring moral issue as well. Telling gay veterans they're not wanted in your (THEIR) state, that's astounding to me.

Texas: We Support The Troops...except the gay ones, then not so much. And obviously that would extend to teachers, doctors, firefighters, cops. They should all move if they don't like it.

This really pissed me off this morning when I read it. My younger brother is a marine in Iraq, he's not gay and we're not from Texas, but if he were and we were, I can only imagine the pain this would cause. He can kill and possibly die for his country, but that's not good enough Rick fucking Perry. Rick Perry, by the way, who probably hasn't served in the fucking boy scouts.
