Radcliffe, always something of a toady, congratulated the administration of the new Obner board. "It's good, I tells ya" he exclaimed, speaking for reasons unknown in the vocal stylings of Popeye.

OPA posed the question "who's avatar fits them best?" and in the resulting intellectual to-and-fro it was decided that, yes, Robotboy does resemble an aghast Orang-Utan. Grumpily Frostingspoon reminded us firmly that an Orang-Utan is an ape, not a monkey, while Konstantinl, in his delightfully offhand way, dismissed the entire community as "painfully ignorant fools" for not knowing the origins of an obscure 19th century etching.

Borg and Yail Bloor provided the days Touch-Of-Shite starting threads that not a single person bothered to respond too, while that Wolfowitz style hawk, Shmoo, proposed an invasion of the "lame" CMJ board until the staid common sense of Alongdrive ("there's no need for any of that") intervended.

Finally, the reprehensible and foul-mouthed Elvis Fu used the "f" word not once but twice over the course of the day, throwing in a "bullshit" and an "anal" for good measure.

Well they'll be at least one more A Day In Obner History because I wrote it last night.

After today I'll think about making it a weekly affair, unless of course I "do a Strokes" and release a rubbishy second effort that's in many ways similar to the first but which lacks the out-of-nowhere surprise factor that made the first one so special.

I vote for weekly too!!
