My theory is there is always great music being released and you just have to be on the ball to track it down.

New Foo Fighters tomorrow. I'll probably get it and I think at least a couple of others on here like them ok. Other than that, I can't think of anything coming out that I'm excited about. It's not really a good summer for concerts either. At least not in Indianapolis.

I like that one more. Can you do one that does the knee-up-elbow-down-fist-up "yes!" thing? I'll be your friend.

I forgot about this fucker as well, and after my new found love for all things FB solo, I am anticipating this one.

Shape of Despair is my currently most anticipated release, and I haven't even picked up Illusion's Play yet.

I had planned on buying it until I saw that it's a copy-protected disc. I can get around the protection (the old "shift-key" solution) but it's an ethical thing for me - I told myself I wouldn't buy any discs that are copy-protected because I don't want to support this violation of our rights. So far I've not had any problems avoiding these discs as there really hasn't been many copy-protected releases I'm interested in. I can live without this Foo Fighters album, unfortunately, so I'll only be buying the new Brian Eno album as well as that Paul McCartney DVD that come out tomorrow.

I forgot about Son Volt. I'm looking forward to that assuming it's better than Farrar's last two solo albums. Also didn't realize Ryan Adam's next one was going to be so soon. I thought it was due in late September.

As for the copy-protection, that does suck. I'll probably still buy it but I doubt it's going to work in my ancient CD player. While on the topic, does anyone know if Ambulance LP was copy protected? I could never burn any songs off of my copy of it.

The only CD that I know for sure I'll be buying in the near future is TSAR's "Band-Girls-Money" here in a couple weeks.

Couldn't find an image for that one. I just went to their site and heard the title track, though, which sounded sorta generic pop/punk. I got worry.
