whatever. bottom line is the bears are lumped among the shitty teams of the nfl this year along with the dolphins. with grossman or without. deal with it.

You've used so much great information to support this that I've concluded that you must be right. Thanks for opening up my eyes!

What? Excuse me? I guarantee that their are 15 second string running backs that i would take over Fat, lazy A-train. 2 off the top of my head:

1. TJ Duckett
2. Jerome Bettis

I loved Thomas Jones when he was at virginia; i had high hopes for him but his work at Arizona behind a good offensive line and can only be labeled "disapointing" I hope he does better with you guys (570 yards, 5 TDs so far)

The Bears only looked good in the game against the Packers. You can look at that 2 ways. Either the Bears played really well, or the Packers played like crap. It's an argument that has 2 sides. The Packers have played like crap in many games since then, and also played really well. The Bears have yet to really play well since that game. (Aside from their special teams and defense scoring all their points. If their running game was as solid as you say, they could at least score 1 touchdown a game)

I don't think Grossman makes the Bears a winning team, but Krenzel's stupid turnovers (much like Carson Palmer without the encouraging growth) certainly kill any chance the Bears have of winning.

Go Bengals!

are you that ignorant? the bears are 4-6. 23rd ranked defense. dead last on offense. your "bend don't break" defense is a piece of shit that just surrendered 275 yards rushing. i'd say they've broken. what other information could you possibly need?

There you go! that's much better than "whatever", I'm not ignorant just because you didn't say shit.

They were playing the Colts. Nobody's been able to deal with that offense. 4-6 is not a bad record, honestly. And you seem to think that even with Grossman(+ others) they'd still be 4-6. I mean, Jesus, forget whether you've seen Grossman play or not, have you seen Krenzel or Quinn play? These guys wouldn't even be back ups on any other team in the NFL. And another thing, Charles Tillman and Mike Brown, who are two of the top 3 players on the defense haven't played a single game this season. Not a single game. This team would make a lot of noise if they were healthy, or even if other players were hurt instead. You sound more and more like you havenn't even watched a bears game this season with every post.

Kurtz, you know Goddamn well that you wouldn't take the guy who grew a tail in a closet over AP. You wouldn't take Wheatley either...and Verron makes this list as a Bulldawg, not a guy better than AP.

Sorry to call you out, but you know this is true. Bring this up wit Scotty D if you won't take my word.

2 things
1. Spade, i could care less in the nfl about a players past performance; shit emmit smith is the all time leading rusher and i wouldn't take him over AT; the nfl is a leaugue of TODAY---thats why there are no guaranteed contracts and the average running back doesnt have much of a shelf life....

2.And Loog, actually taking V. Haynes has nothing to do with his alma mater---it has to do with his numbers THIS season; and my own personal assesment of games that i have seen him play; Tyrone Wheatley might be a stretch---I'll give you that, probly just laziness on my part, though i will say in my defense he does have better numbers THIS season....

The dude who grew a tail can play for me any day---check his stats; this is football.

Of the 15 he listed:
6 acheived 1000 yards in a season
1 projected to this year by nfl.com fantasy

and I'll add:
Droughns who will do it this year.

You're quick to laud some of these running backs after just a few games...why can't I jump to conclusions about Grossman on virtually the same number of games

I was waiting for the game to officially end, and then my thread was gonna be "Hey Spade, F You!"

We are playing without our starting qb and have been since week 3. How can I make this more clear.

Did you actually see anything when grossman was playing?

WE KICKED THE PACKERS' ASS IN WEEK 2. It wasn't a squeaker. It was an ASS KICKING. Since then, special teams and defense have won 3 in a row WITHOUT AN OFFENSE.

we were playing with a qb who could barely even walk up to the huddle. and, he wasn't the starting qb for the last 5-6 games.

we kicked the rams ass a few weeks back. on any given sunday.... other than the packers game, you guys beat the niners (the bottom of the bottom) and won a game only because of special teams and an INT.

wanna wager a mix cd on the bears v. cowboys game?

We also kicked the Giants ass in NY. Or maybe you're leaving out the Tennesee game. The Bears are not a fluke on defense. I predicted 31-3 Colts today. I'm not delusional. In fact, the Colts -7 was my stone cold lock of the week against the spread.

Like I said, I'll put anything on the Bears to win on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys SUCK.

I hope you didn't wager your first-born, or a mortgage payment. I do have to compliment SK on the bravado, though. I would never do that with the Seahawks, even if they were playing the Bears ;)

If there were any doubts as to how much we miss Urlacher... look no further than the last two weeks. The run defense is atrocious without him... bad enough with him.

Bears with Krenzel.....7-7, edinger missing the go-ahead field goal

as soon as he left things went downhill

if he would've played the whole game the Bears would've won.

Sorry, folks, that's the truth. Quinn sucks. If you would've told me pre-game he would be playing at any point, I never would've bet the Bears.

As a direct result of the injury, Quinn left the defense on the field for 80% of the 4th quarter. Look up the stats of any defense on the field for that percentage of that quarter and then come talk some smack.

That being said, the Bears didn't even give up 300 total yards. That's pretty fucking good for any defense.

It's flattering so many of you were so interested in bumping this thread and my reaction to your taunts. It's good to see I still got it.

Consequently, if Vinny plays the first half, we lose 31-7. Krenzel is no answer to any question I'm asking... and the score's still 21-7 even if he plays. The Dallas O line just blew our defense out of the water. And their defense, which is almost as bad as ours yardage wise, looked like the Ravens.

The D/ST had been covering up many holes this team has... now, they're out in the open. Whatever, Lovie has them playing over their heads as it is... hopefully they're healthy next year.
