Not liking something is just as valid an opinion as saying 'the Rakes! Fuck yeah!". Besides, my initial comment was that I thought a lot of these groups have a few good songs and a bunch of filler, which is hardly overanalysing anything.

so here's my .02:

fun record, but in the wake of bloc party, doesn't have a huge impact on me. as far as re-hash goes, we could be doing a lot worse than these kinds of bands. i don't know how much i will listen to this the whole way through, but it's nice to have up in the random ipod mix for sure.

i think binary love is a real standout.

I just got around to listening to this. (it has apparently been maturing in my download folder for a couple months)

Anywho, I like it. Like Dalen said, it doesnt reinvent the wheel, but im a sucker for down and dirty indie/pop/punk
