I have tried, but I find that show completely unwatchable. The concept is a no brainer and could be funny, but it's too loose. Too much improv and not enough quality writing. God comedy is hard work!

watching those guys chase the milkshake last year was probably the hardest i've laughted outside of non-Arrested Development TV in 5 years. It's a damn shame they write Lindsay Lohan movies now.

my favorite was probably when Wigel was dating the serial murderer and they went over to his house and saw all the saws, the human sized "birdcage" all the women's shoes ("he collects shoes and I love shoes")...lol

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this take. I thought it was funny once but not so much on several attempted viewings.

I'd rather watch a documentary or news program. This is what happens when you quit smoking dope: Nothing is funny anymore.....

This may be the funniest post of the day...

And Yail, things are still funny, just not completely inane shit.

i don't know if you just don't like it or aren't giving it enough chance. I think it's really well written and a highly nuance show. I like it more every time i watch it.

but i should point out i feel the same way about Joe Dirt.

i wasn't willing to give the show a chance at first but it's actually quite funny. however, i am quite excited for the new show from other former state members, "stella".

their shorts are already hilarious. i hope they can transfer the hilarity to cable tv.

sadly, i don't. and like every Halloween costume i've ever worn, the night ended with like 2 tubes of fake blood splattered all over me.
i saw the pilot for Stella last weekend. It was You Wrote It, You Watch It, funny, not The State funny. do not watch it after eating mushrooms. not. funny.

Woah, this was awesome.

I love that they realized they needed to take a different direction after the last couple years, the show still seems fresh.

Damnit. Though from that flying moustache tv-spot, I'm not exactly surprised.

i dunno i was surprised at how the stella pilot turned out. nothing can top the state, obviously, but it came out better than i had hoped it would, already being a fan of their short films.
