At least for me and other substitutes, starting at 2:45 P.M.!

Tomorrow is a Teacher Institute Day, and Friday is wake up and go home day, neither of which concern ME.

All right, hope Wed. good for you too.

Congrats to you. Yeah, CPS ends officially on friday.

Today we have the 1st grade Picnic, which I have to be at in just over an hour. Then no school tomorrow, then last day on friday.

My son was estatic last night at the thought of no homework for three months!!

p.s. Phil, I heard yesterday that a new and very nice school is opening up in a year in the South Loop. All due to the gentrification of the area lately. Just a thought.

I finish up teaching this summer class next thursday (we meet tuesdays/thursdays). Overall, this group was probably more intelligent than any other time Ive taught this class- but they still have their major project due at the end of next week, so there is always time to disappoint me...

I cant wait to be done until September...

of course, i've always got the summer job too. but really all that entails is hiking a couple miles of day with some kids saying "yes you can touch that crayfish" and "no, do not put your face in that skunk cabbage"

Ummm, what does KT stand for? Is it a guy?

Because if it is, I can only think of one KT that's local, and well, if it's who I hope it is. Well golly.

And if not, shucks.

I wish it was Kim Thayil. Charli, it's not Kevin Tihista, although I've met him and recorded with his engineer and studio musicians, so if I really pressed it, maybe i could sub in with him and then be in his band because i'm so flipping great.

Or I'll just keep trudging along.

KT is Karmatease. Fun band, bad name.

So who's coming to see me play with Liquid Soul at The Field Museum tomorrow night?
