oooh, yeah..sorry..I don't have those considerations.

No nudity, per se, but Strong Sexual Content, I guess.

Pretty funny.

It would never air in a million years though.

It's good. Vastly amusing hump action. But if you want it to get played I'd suggest cutting out some of the unnecessary (excuse the word) inserts and pare the whole thing down to 15 seconds.

It's those insert shots that suggest something much more graphic than what's actually there. And, of course, 15 seconds of airtime is a lot cheaper than 30.

I liked it too.

Somewhat unrelated, but the Ad Graveyard is full of good shit that never saw the light of day due to questionable content or just my type of humor.

apparently this was run by the nwt government to get teachers up north (which is always a huge problem). and its true. any of you teachers here, come up north and we'll give you a hell of a lot of paid vacation time.

As of January 1, 2003 there were 41,389 people in the Northwest Territories. Approximately half the population is Aboriginal.

Land mass: 1,171,918 square kilometres

yeah, we used to be about twice as big before nunavut split. and we had about 60,000 people. to come live here you gotta like a lot of empty spaces.

Northern Soul-

I'm looking at jobs available in the NWT and most of them have a ' Northern Allowance.' What's that about?

northern allowance is just something to deal with the high inflation of the north. it costs a lot to get things up here. usually the government (especially the federal government) likes to pay everyone about the same thing, no matter where they live in the country, but they cant do it here because again, inflation is too high. its just a balance with the rest of the country.

So many questions!

How freaking cold does it get in Inuvik? OMG, it must be insane.

nunavut split from the nwt in 1999. actually, now that i think about it we would be about 3 times the size without nunavut splitting. it gets cold in the winter, and actually quite hot (comparatively) in the summer. you can go here for the monthly averages. i can say that it can get to about -40 (both celsius and fahrenheit) in the winter(usually around january or february) and up to about +30 (about 85 fahrenheit) in the summer (around june or july). you also have to deal with 24 hours of sunlight in the summer and 24 hours of darkness in the winter for about a month each too. hope youre not too turned off!

No. I'm intrigued. I think it'd be exciting to spend a year or two up there. I'm a fan of the cold weather, but the 56 days of sunlight and 30 without might get to me.

How difficult would it be for a yank like me to get one of these jobs I'm looking at? I imagine they'd rather hire a Canadian.

18,000 in Yellowknife.

3200 in Inuvik.

Everyone must know the color of everyone else's underwear.

i cant say how easy it is to get jobs up there if youre american, but id say as long as you have the proper documentation they wouldnt have any problem with it. i gotta say though, if you wanna go up there, dont go to inuvik. lived there for 11 years, and its in real bad shape these days. huge drug problems, and the people arent the greatest either. yellowknifes ok, but its not what you want if youre going for the "experience." if you really want to get off the beaten track, go live in nunavut. its in the middle of nowhere, the people are friendly, and the drug problems a lot of the communities have in the nwt arent as bad.

It would air in Europe, but the content may not translate. I would think that bad radio is purely American in nature. It's pretty good though. I gave it a "Qual".
