I just listened to part of it at a Border's listening station last night and it
FUCKING BLEW ME AWAY!

Any of y'all have this yet?
Impressions?

It is right at the top of my "to buy" list right now.

I think it's just ok - no Nocturama but, to be honest, I haven't listened to it all that much since I got it..

I like it, though can't listen to it very often. I'm more familiar with Abbatoir Blues. "There She Goes My Beautiful World" is a great, great song.

i only heard parts of it too, Todd, and what I heard seemed to have reinvented my love for Nick Cave. This one shot straight to the top of my "to buy" list as well. Maybe a black friday sale purchase???
We'll see.

It is most probably the strongest contender for the #1 spot
on my top 2004 list.

It is beautiful, dark, intense, subtle, and even...*gasp*... happy at times.

me likey.
