It's kind of weird (it doesn't foam up) but it does a decent job. I'm not sure how well it will work when the blade is a few weeks old though.

It looks expensive.

Then again, why should I bitch. I buy shaving cream/gel once a year.

I think it was about $6. I'm not sure how long it'll last.

Umm...Edge Gel I think.

I have a beard, so it lasts a looooong while when I only shave my neck and cheeks intermittently.

Ah, that makes sense. I wasn't even thinking you had a beard and I'm like "what the fuck shaving cream lasts a year?".

A good friend in college would only shave with cold water. You could hear him from across the room scratching away. He swore by it, but god it made me wince.

I didn't shave all last week (you unemployed bum) so I just thought "fuck it, I'll grown my beard back proper".

I'll try and keep on top of it this time so it doesn't go all Karl Marx on me again.

The foamier the better I've found.

I shave with cold water. My friend said that Queer Eye recommended it. So I did it. But I'm not queer.

I can't get a decent shave with anything less than warm water, & really hot works best.

And I can't friggin' stand ANY kinda gel...it always goes slidin' around on my hand - can't control it. I'm a Barbasol guy.

use butter.

"Good Morning Vietnam" did too. Hot water will make the blade expand & increase your chance of cuts. I soften up the whiskers with hot water sometimes even putting a wet wash cloth in the microwave for 30 seconds or so. But once I start shaving I rinse the blade with cold water.

I was using the gel version of that.
