hey, i've been reading the posts since cmj went down...i'm liking Spoon, M. Ward, the ever so random Bright Eyes and massive amounts of Neil Young, "the sufjan", and My Morning Jacket...i am considering deleting all bands from itunes that have played The OC - (God Bless Them)

and if you have heard any rumor about my past, its all lies, and LOOGAR has got my back

oh and Arcade Fire makes me want to dance or just listen to London Calling on repeat for 44 days and 22 hours.

Welcome! I don't know whether I should laugh or cry that Loogar's compadres are joining by the droves! Senator, are you running some sort of "obner witnessing" program? ;)

Well, I asked Tommy (adolase) if I could get some input from the obnish about the ad we wrote and he shot..so he said yes. When I sent him the link, he was curious, because we had talked about the board before, and he was curious as to how I am always getting new albums/hearing about music, etc... and so he joined.

He is not a Georgian/ATLien, though. From Texas..though I met him in NH...also responsible for me going to SXSW this year.

No worries... I was just giving you a hard time. :P Sorry, I didn't view the commercial, as I'm at work, and someone clearly stated it wasn't safe for work.

Yeah, I didn't think you were actually giving me shit about this...I just wanted it made clear I have no plans for a board takeover or anything, just building my constituency.

You can call me The Bad Guy or The Starship Coyote if you so desire.

And I'm on pint #3, but its after 5....not that that matters to the unemployed

Yo adolase, welcome.

I'm unfortunately one of Loogar/Diamond's henchmen. Which is to say, if I have the time/money my ass may be coming to SXSW with him this year.

Nice work on the video and I heard good things from Dave about the film you took to SXSW last year.

Fill me in on this SXSW '05 invasion. I went in '02 and had a blast - punctuated by my buddy and I falling ass backward into the Vivid.com party @ Hard Rock.

I was thinking about going this year, even though I'm no longer officially a rock hack.

Who's on the tentative list?

KPH: This shit is on the quick side...okay it sounds like we are the beginnings of a self style return to SXSW. 6-8 we must begin our new album recorded via answering machines, i think i have an in. Also, we've discovered at SXSW just pretending to be from an "indi" movie that's winning shit get's you into any party - which keeps costs low.

Don't spill the beans about the album yet..its a work in progress (very little progress at that)

Album remains on the down and down.

SXSW: Yeah, ask some kid for his short film pass, offer him $40 or something when he's leaving, it won't get him anywhere anyways, then just walk around and whip it out of your pocket to get into a hotel room party or soemthing...and then just act like you won an award at the fest...it works, its grand.

Ahh, it's quite nice to see a vocabulary I'm familiar with...qual, gar, and loogar.
