I was having this thought about Spoon just this morning. Hopefully he's on vacation, or just trapped under something heavy.

FSpoon is dead. Blue Lantern lives. And Blue Lantern is the kind of guy who doesn't post as much.

Edit: in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Lantern didn't much care for Kate Bush.

I have been paid quite well recently for splashing around in springs and streams, flipping rocks and counting critters - basically, acting like a highly technically inclined six-year-old, coming home with chigger bites and going to sleep in front of the daily show on tv . . . field biology is nice, but it's been keeping me away from my obnish brethren & sistren.

time to go home and cook some curry (using a dorkestra recipe or two, of course)

I've never really posted that much but here is my observation for what it is worth. I don't check this board as much as I used to check the old CMJ board.

That board was better than this one because there was more of an influx of new people. It kept it more interesting and seemed to inspire the regular posters. I used to have a lot of fun reading that board. Sure you can post pictures here but if it is the same 10 people doing it all the time it gets kind of old.

Its too bad you all defected from the CMJ board.

p.s. Loogar and his possee crack me up. Kinda remind me of my drunk fratboy neighbors in college....in a good way.

I really don't have much to contribute as far as music stuff goes, and already waste people's time with my random babbling in the nmr threads. But of course I will continue to babble at will whenever I feel like doing so. Or until I don't have internet again in about 10 days... hopefully it won't be too long before I get it all set up again.

I guess I'm less inclined to post at work these days.

But, more so, I've deduced that I might share less in common musically with most of the board than I originally thought. This may be wrong. In any case, I blame the music. And also too much NMR, I guess.

My posts have definitely dropped off, though.

I don't buy this because since October more people have latched onto this board than the old CMJ board.

As i've said before, if you can't find music threads here that interest you are daft or just ornery.

As it is, I am glad I have done so little to ruin so much for so many.
