Reminds me of when I was young and COULDN'T have any of my food on the plate touch. I went so far as to put a knife under the plate to give it a grade so the vinegar from my spinach wouldn't touch my meatloaf. God, I was militant about my food not touching.

Me- Shaking my head, disgusted she doesn't get the point.

For all around eating, hot apple pie a la mode. It's gotta have lovely crust or forget it.

And I make a wonderful pumpkin pie with walnuts baked into the crust. One of the best pies EVER!

And when it's in season, strawberry pie...oh my god, such decadence!
