You see, I find that to be damn near impossible in a heatwave, at least without central air. No energy.

Damn. We have actually had a relatively mild summer so far with highs only being in the mid to high 80's but the humidity can be a bitch.

When it's like the above temps on the weekend there are only two acceptable options:

1) Stay indoors withe AC on

2) Be next to a large or small body of water with a cooler of beer.

Ha! You poor bastard! Here in Boston it only just got warm this week, and is still raining intermittently*!

geez. i hope that isn't heading towards cleveland.

i know it's supposed to be 90 today.
but then it's supposed to go back down to mid 80s.
i can handle that.

the 90s make me want to throw myself off a cliff.

our heatwaves in the great lakes region is humid and every step you take makes you sweat.... sucks big time.

when i worked at the tourist place we used to get people from the south (Texas ect...) bitch about how they thought Canada was supposed to be cold and how it's too hot ( they happened to be here on a humid summer heat wave)

The humidity down here puts me in slowmo. Got to keep plenty of cold brew around to keep the blood thin. Also when it gets real hot I sometimes roll with to shirts. One to sweat in while I drive to Point B, and one toput on when I get there.

The joys of having MS eh todd? I know what you mean. I go into hibernation every summer because the heat hurts me so bad.

I always hate having to explain every fucking summer to my family why I don't enjoy sitting on a beach or running around in the heat playing sports in this weather. " Gee, for the 15th summer in a row, I have this thing called MS, with MS comes the joy of being abnormally sensitive to heat which forces me to stay in air conditioning all summer long. Yes it sucks but at least I don't pass out and relapse".

Yeah, Charlie has his last little league game tomorrow, I hope to god it's not scorching out there.

Nevada, and yup it's drier here than a popcorn fart. Having said that, 107 dry degrees (like it was yesterday) is hot, and I'm thiinking anyone who says "but it's a DRY heat" never lived through a desert summer. The inside of my car was 134 degrees when I got in it after work.

I grew up in and lived most of my life in FL- I know what humidity is. And yeah, it sucks.

The humidity down here is ridiculous, but I like it when it's hot.

I have begun hanging my shirt on a hangar and just rocking a t shirt in the office. everyone who saw those wedding pics knows I sweat like a bastard.

It sucks, and strangely enough, my right arm sweats more than my left, so many times I have a huge sweat stain on one arm, and nothing on the other.

This is also the time of year that I end my showers by wrenching the handle to cold, and staying under for as long as I can stand it so I don't immediately start sweating when I get out of the shower.

and, Last, but certainly not least, since I don't pay my power bill, the AC in my place is all the way to the left and permanently "on." So much so that the dudes I live with right now wear sweatshirts.

This is the time of year when my wife and I will begin arguing over the AC settings. Or we'll play little games like slyly changing the temp when the other one isn't looking.

<-----Always hot (in more way than one)
