I planned to go sign a lease for a sweet place in Jefferson Park today. Around 11 this morning, I got a call from the owner telling me to not come because the building was on fire last night. :shock:

Luckily there were no injuries, but it's not known how much damage there is to the building. Damn it.

oh, i heard about that fire on the news today. it was apparently due to its air-conditioning unit going bananas. so, uh, maybe summer's not the best time to move over there.

on a side note, before you leave the neighborhood, we gonna bowl sometime?
