Just bought my tix for the show in Brooklyn on Sept 24th....Should be fun.... Cyclone during the day, Music at night....

don't know why i felt the need to share it....

never saw the Stripes but i really like the new record.

I think The Greenhornes are opening for the Stripes for most of the August dates.

i think that's who it was. one of the la shows, autolux is opening, and i was hoping that my friend got our tickets for the one- but he didn't. oh well! are they any good?

i saw white stripes and brendan benson at 123 pleasant street a few years ago. it was an excellent show. i've never seen the shins and think they'd be rather boring live. the others are pretty good, though.

we played w/ the waxwings last year and that was when brendan was playing w/ them. they all came back to my apt and drank w/ us on my deck until the wee hours of the morning. brendan was a nice guy.

i saw brendan open for the white stripes as well - good show.

i think the shins would be awesome in concert but have never made it. the stripes were really really good - much better than I thought they would be.
