I'm bringing this up because I was listening to their Sunrise On the Sufferbus album today in the car and its great. I also have a cd single of Domino which kicks ass too but that's it.

Anyone else dig them? If so, how are their other albums?

Their first two records are dynamite. Stupid band name, but great first two albums. If you like "Domino", the rest of their debut should suit you just fine.

The guy ranting through, T.U.S.A. is Ginger Baker, for those who have yet to peruse the liner notes.

I heard their third album was crud, but I can't speak for it first hand.

Sounds like I need to find that first album then.

After doing some research I found out that some of the members of Masters Of Reality have been in Kyuss and Queens Of the Stone Age at some point.

Also, one of the guys is a new band called Goon Moon with Twiggy Ramirez (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson). I'd like to hear what that sounds like as well...

I remember seeing them open for Alice In Chains way back when..but I don't remember much about them other than they had a drummer that looked elderly

or maybe that was Circus of Power...I don't know

I saw Circus Of Power back in '87, opening for Janes Addiction and Iggy Pop. They blew Janes Addiction to pieces.

Man, that first Circus Of Power album is kickass. I saw them on tour too, years ago.

Anyone want to trade me something for their Vices or Magic and Madness cd's?

Dammit, now you're going to make me really wish I'd picked up a copy of that the last time I saw it used . . . lost my own copy years ago, and about once every three months I suddenly am gripped by a need to hear it. It's gone unfulfilled. And I bet I won't find even a new copy locally . . . time to hit up Amazon and Half, I suppose.

Vices was pretty much crap, except for "Los Angeles". I sold it about a week after I bought it way back when. Magic and Madness, on the other hand, I dig a great deal. I think Loogar would like Magic And Madness, it's got a pretty mongerous tone.

I'm casting another vote for the first Masters album...just a kick-ass record all around. I've got 5 MOR albums - 3 studio, & 2 live. MOR is basically Chris Goss, who's also done a lot of producing ( this is where the QOTSA & Kyuss connections come in ) .

That first Circus Of Power album's good greasy biker rock. I think I still have "Magic & Madness" on CD...
