- raise that bottle of jone's turkey & gravy soda and join me in a thanksgiving toast to haq for creating our happy little haven here.

i am also thankful for:
- my recent purchase of a fabulous new sofa
- the release of smile
- the fact that the L word has been renewed on showtime

Amen.

Be sure to pour a little gravy soda out for the homies who've gone before us.

I am thankful for:

-Guilty pleasure TV shows like the OC & Desperate Housewives.
-The ability to learn to control my anger (the TRUE test was proven over the weekend)
-COFFEE & TURKEY & CHEESE STUFFED CROISSANTS! Yum!

O.k., turkey and cheese stuffed croissants... sure.

But coffee, AND turkey, AND cheese, all in one croissant? Is that some crazy Californian fusion cooking thing?

I'm thankful for all kinds of stuff. Like Gina, friends, a job that lets me travel a little and keeps me more sane than teaching, oreos, tobacco, food...

Nope. I said fuck it, she's not worth the time or energy to be wasted telling her off or beating the living hell out of her. Why let some skank ruin me having fun?

HAHA. No. There's this drive-in coffee shop on my way to work that has the BEST coffee and the BEST turkey & cheese stuffed croissant. Best combo ever.

all you need is a cup of broccoli cheddar soup to dip the croissant in and you're set.

And I'm proud of you for not putting your boot so far up that bitch's ass that she'd have tasted leather and polish for two weeks.

Seeing as how you're now a toothless threat, other people will continue to do this, and you'll have to continue turning the other cheek. No longer can you be called pumachik. buddhachik is more like it.

Oh yeah! I am thankful that I get out of work early too! But I'm not thankful that I still have to go to class tonight. UGH!

I am thankful for:

- my wonderful husband, even though there are some days I wanna strangle him, in the end it's all good.
- my amazing friends, who stick by me in some of my most stubborn and idiotic moments
- my two beautiful pups, who bring me incredible joy with just a wag of their tail or a quick kiss on the nose
- and, I'm really thankful that I've gotten to "know" all of you-- you guys are superb and have rescued me from a life of musical mediocrity!

Yes, I did... I'm thankful for that, but really and truly, material things never last, so it's good to keep the intangibles around!
