And I'm sad. The things you do to try and get a job, and/or appease the family for the holidays.

no pics... no camera...

I'm trying to get this job at nookies because i need a job. So i needed to ditch the beard for that. And gina hates the beard, her mom hates the beard, my parents hate the beard, and it was ending up in my mouth alot while i was eating. What with my cooking Thanksgiving dinner, i figured it'd be a good time to ditch it, to prevent accidental shedding into the mashed potatoes.

I'm still sad.

And ryan, when are you growing YOUR beard, buddy?

But ask aaron and katie, they saw it a couple weeks ago, it was glorious.

actually, i did have a 2 week beard going for halloween but once the costume idea was aborted, dr. j demanded it to be shaved off, stat. But one of these days, one of these days I'll stand up to that 5ft tall girl and let the hair grow and grow and grow.

but it was pretty sweet at the time.

It was awesome.

Hey, I cut off a lot of my beard last night. I still have a beard but it was pruned back quite severely.

I was getting family hassle too (my brothers finance never tires of telling me it's disgusting and I'm not coming to the wedding looking like that). People were staring at me in the street, like they've never seen a beard before! Cocky teenagers were laughing and making comments. It was going a bit Charles Darwin it has to be said but the reaction to it was over the top.

So I got the sissors out last night and chop chop chopped. It is a sad state of affairs when you have to literally cut lumps of yourself off just to fit in with peoples ideas of what you should look like.

I'll have to have an other run over it to make sure it's all the same length tonight.

Please tell me that this job involved ensuring the adhesiveness of pasties.

I ain't shaving mine. No way. I hated shaving. I do keep it trimmed because I start getting this hurricane swirl pattern on my left jaw, and I am disgusted when I bite into a sandwhich and get my own hair.

In my dozen years of marriage, I've started a beard about a dozen times and my wife goes "uh-uh. that's just not working." Funny, cause I had long hair and a beard when she met me. Was thinner then, though

Unfortunately no... it's a great little breakfast spot in chicago. I like the dixie benedicts.

Poached eggs and grilled ham on biscuits covered in chicken sausage gravy, with a side of hashbrowns.

Err...me. Used to be 175. Went up to 255 by 2002. Down to 199 by the beginning of the year. Back up to 210 now.

But my pogo diet and expand-contract figure are ceasing now. Doctor's put me back on an extreme diet due to health concerns and, unless I eat 50 tons of tuna fish and grapes a day, I should be slimming down for good soon.

My "Octobeard" has streached into/become a "Novembeard". It's pretty gross, and not very full at all, and really patchy, but I think I'm going to try not to shave through the holidays...
I wish I could grow a real beard...

Aww, I liked it.

That being said, you should have done this while I was there and I would have thrown you a beard shaving party.

Beards are icky. Though, they're not too bad if they're close-cropped. Goatees are nice, I like those...especially, when...well, you know. ;)

I went to a Christmas party once that sometime after midnight degenerated into guys shaving a Christmas tree into another guy's back hair.

I can say no more.

Beards are fun. They are not worth risking a shot at Nookie's employment, though. Here's one for ayah.
