Yup, those early-80's dudes who brought you "What I Like About You" and "Talking In Your Sleep". Lovable, if not run of the mill radio friendly pop tunes.

Fast forward 25 years, and in the mail today is my copy of "61/49", an album they made in 2003. This record is smokin', nasty, raw, gutsy garage rock. Anyone with an appreciation for the likes of The Sonics, The Fleshtones, The Cynics, The Pretty Thigns, et al will have no problems falling in love with this at first listen. Had I heard this record when it was originally released, it would have been in my top five.

I remember talking about this record about a month ago...it's a good 'un. But I've always been a fan....hell, I saw 'em open for friggin' Adam Ant back in '84.

Those guys have been thru the music bidness wringer more than once...I'm happy that they can put out records & play shows again.
