vacation was really good. went on my first cruise which i can now say i'll never do again. the excursions to the different countries just aren't long enough. fucking really relaxing though. sunburned to all hell. jamaica was brilliant...grand cayman was a tourist hole...cozumel had AMAZING snorkeling. i need to finally sober up.

aural, i've probably missed something over the past 9 days though. i think. i've been looking though, and it doesn't look like i have.

aimaa, i actually wanna check out the new ying yang. any good?

My thoughts exactly. Really relaxing but just too much time on a boat and not enough on land. I'll go if someone else pays but I'm not forking any money over for one.

On CD releases, I don't have anything for you but am looking forward to your next recommendation.

I went on vacation too! Just got back Sunday night for the Ninja jazz festy show. I went to my family's cottage on Thunder Beach, Georgian Bay, where it was gloriously hot and ideal in every way possible. I love it there soooooo much. All I listened to for 9 days was John Fahey. Who needs the internet or new releases?

Well I started a thread about the great new mini-album by Mak Obaam which got zero responses....

actually this amg review is pretty spot on. you can def see outkast influence there (at least conceptually, how they broaden the palette etc). def their best effort yet.

I started a thread about the new Editors LP that already has been released in the UK, but won't get US release until later. Do you have any (YSI) info?
