HIGH POINTS:

-Beautiful weather.
-Cold beer.
-Tons of food.
-Laying at the beach.
-Watching a Mamma Duck leads six babies across the road, as cars from each direction stopped and all watched with smiles on their faces.. (something I thought only happened on cartoons)

LOW POINTS
-Getting sunburnt on my ankles and feet and making my sneakers uncomfortable.
-Waking up at 5am cause of Insomnia.
-not enough stomach lining to enjoy all the great food at BBQ.
-meeting a guy at same BBQ who is raing a son (2), and daughter (5) by himself cause his wife picked up one day and decided that motherhood wasn't for her.....that was a major bummer. kids seemes well adjusted though....the guy seemed defeated and overwhelmed with life.
- having to catch an early train so i could get home at a decent hour and missing the fireworks.

HIGHS:
- Caught a good low-key show w/ Busty and the wife.
- Got to ride a buddy's motorcycle around the block, discovered that either it shrank since I saw it last year, or I'm getting a lot better at driving those things.
- Did a TON of work in basement, more on that later.
- Sold a car, for cashola.

LOWS:
- Disturbing lack of BBQ, with one hamburgerish "exception."
- Got 0 satisfaction from watching fireworks extravaganza for some reason. Wierd. Maybe we were too far away.
- Spent car sale $ at Home Depo in preparation for selling our house. Now that we're selling, it's time to make it the place it should've been all along.

LOW: Having to spend the last two nights (and tonight) at Motel 6, because the central A/C at my house spit the bit.
HIGH: Tom Bodette actually DID leave the light on for me.

LOW: Bought a 2005 Family Truckster for an amount that, once 72 months worth of massive interest-bloated payments have been made, will surpass the GNP of Bolivia.
HIGH: It's got a built-in DVD player, so my roadtrips will be spent listening to endless loops of VeggieTale DVDs. (Wait, I thought this was supposed to be a "HIGH.")

LOW: Got a pretty stout sunburn on my shoulders and upper back.
HIGH: It was worth it for the quality swim time I got to spend with my progeny.

The main dude was Jo Koy (I think he was in I Love the 70s/80s VH1) series. That fool had me laughing so hard. The other two comedians, I don't remember what their names were... my friend got tickets for the show so I just tagged along. It was at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd.

Low points:

- got chased out of the house at which I am staying by the psycho landlord;
- no alcohol;
- was going to go to work, but forgot my badge, so spent a lot of time riding the Metro pointlessly;
- got carried away watching O Brother, Where Art Thou, so I missed the fireworks.

High points:

- was watching a friend's house anyway, so had a place to stay;
- no hangover;
- still had fun;
- was going to go to work, but forgot my badge, so spent a lot of time riding the Metro pointlessly;
- honeys;
- got carried away watching O Brother, Where Art Thou, so I missed the fireworks.
