So I'm thinking about going to see Link Wray this weekend. Anyone seen him recently? I think it could be cool but at the same time I'm not so sure about watching a 76 year old rockin' out if he doesn't still have it.

Woah, he's still going?!

I saw him about '96 or something like that. He was 'only' in his sixties back then. He came out with shades on and a leather jacket and everything! Cool as fuck.

I don't know what he was like at his prime but he was still impressive as hell when I saw him.

I don't know how accurate this information is, but I've heard that Link's hearing is so bad that his wife has to bash out a rhythm on a cowbell or something similar right next to his ear(s) just so he can keep in sync with his band.
