The first incidents were all on the underground. Declaring the source of the explosions as a power surge keeps people relatively calm. The bus bombs make the explanation a bit more suspect. Even if it was a power surge, it could still be sabotage.

Exactly. We've been dropping bombs on other countries for years so is it any surprise that there is retaliation?

Blair is covered in other peoples blood from the crown of his head to the tip of his toes. A liar and a murderer and now he can't even guarentee security to his own people in his own country.

It might do you good to remember that it is the people with bombs who are trying to take away your basic freedoms. Whatever Blair has done, in whatever wrong the UK has been complicit, it remains wrong to bomb civilians in the subway. Before you consider this in some way just recompense for the UK's actions in the middle east, ask yourself whether killing 3000 arabs was appropriate after 9/11.

Colin, I hope everyone you know there (and in fact everyone who is not already known to be dead) is ok.
