I'm tired of my own shit.
And I can't stop myself.
The thoughts running trhough my brain...
Sometimes I wonder, "Why do I have to be Me today?"

I mean, I love my life. My kids. My wife.
It's just ME that I have a hard time with occasionally.

Seriously.
Anyone ever feel like this?

The question is who would you like to be?

I often get sick of being me, but not as often as I get sick of everybody else being them.

In terms of the global self, no. In fact, I often wish there were two of me so I could hang out with myself. I've always enjoyed my own company.

But in terms of more 'local' self aspects, I'll quote Tommy from Goodfellas:

"I wish I was big just once."

I don't think I've ever wished I wasn't me. I'm pretty happy with who I am and what I've accomplished.

Life is short. I know, it's a cliche but oh so true.

that's why it's imparitive to have a massive disparity in your day-to-day behavior.

also, getting drunk and loudly proclaiming your new name is "Flurghenstein" every fifteen minutes helps.

By the way, Todd, be careful. This is how multiple personalities start! ;)

Yeah.

The great irony seems to be that the assholes who should feel that way never seem to.

I don't like me but everyone else is even worse.

Edit - Damn, Radcliffe said the same thing. Am I that fucked up?

Whenever I feel down or ill at ease I just release a new critically acclaimed Shambolic Trumpet album in my head.

I like being me, I'm just sick of the teaching. I just want to play and record music. I'm sick of my routine, I guess, except for the music.
