Today: About to skate out of town to Birmingham, AL for a wedding tomorrow. With the Slurricane bearing down on us, it is nice to have the excuse. Probably get some dinner, some drinks and then: MONGER.

Tomorrow: Apparently go buy a wedding gift w/the gf, go to this wedding in the mid afternoon, hit the reception for some free boozin, and then get bilked for a tiny meal at some massively expensive restaurant. Maybe go out afterwards and drink. Our hotel is right in the middle of town, so it is convenient for mongering purposes.

Sunday: LATE CHECKOUT BITCHES! If the Slurricane is causing havoc, head to ATL for at least Sunday night...play the rest by ear.

Maybe I'll just go to Bethleham.

Going to Lake Wisconsin for the weekend. My gf's best friend's b-day is on Sat. and he and his seven friends are gonna be up there as well. These guys are all gay so it'll be interesting to say the very least.

Anyway, gonna ride a jet ski for the first time and spend as much time as possible on the boat. Gonna sleep in a tent with the gf so I don't have to hear the moaning that is sure to be going on inside the house.

There's been some talk of GHB. None for me thanks.

Today: Going home sick in the next hour or so thanks to fun sinus infection. Tonight watch movie with son and husband and finish HP's Order of the Pheonix.

Tomorrow: Hang out with son. Son's bday party at 3 in the afternoon with family and his friends. Relax from that sat night.

Sunday: Son's actual bday. Make him pancakes for breakfast, take him to Little League Picnic. Have quick bite for dinner, then go see Riviera play Old Town's Folk and Roots festival.

Monday-Real day off hallelujah.

i dunno what's weirder, that people take that shit recreationally, or that one would talk about it excitedly beforehand.

Missed wedding anniversary while in Dublin, so going out with my wife to the Keg tonight and get some prime rib. Then drinks, mostly likely a pitcher of sangria to go with the heat.

Saturday, probably just lounging and bbqing some shrimps and drinking. I had some shandy while in London last week. Perhaps that will be on the menu.

Is going to Castaway's over on North Ave. beach as annoying as it sounds? I'm being pressured to go. Too White Crew is performing, which means it will be even harder to walk up there than usual. Opinions, please!

Castaways is fine as long as you're ready to ironically appreciate it. Grab a 20oz. can of Bud, sit back (or stand, since it's always packed) and laugh.

Tonight: Going to Braves/Brewers game with some work folk. Afterwards going to Mike & Angelo's in Buckhead to see Swami Gone Bananas. They are the house band there that plays every Fri and Sat night in the Summer. They are all these 60 year old ex hippies who can fucking shred on their instruments and cover the Stones, Who, Zepplin, Allmans, etc.

This is basically an excuse to meet up with some chicks who aren't really into "indie" music and still hear some tunes.

Saturday: Hang by the pool. "War of the Worlds" maybe.

Sunday: More mongering, sleep, watch some of the Tour de France.

Nice one, but I'm still drinking it. Then I'm having some singapore slings and maybe some Canada Cooler.

Tonight - Nothing

Tomorrow - Going to either a birthday party or hurricane party. With an outside chance that I'm evacuating to Shreveport depending on what this storm does.

Sunday - recovering

Fuck Shreveport and go to Monroe and hang out at either Yogi's, in the shopping center at the foot of the bridge into West Monroe, or hang your hat at the Airport Cocktail Lounge, upstairs at the, um, airport.

I get off work in 1/2 hour, summer hours yay! Gonna go run errands, do laundry, clean apt., nap, etc. Supposed to hang out w/my cousin tonight- I haven't seen her in a few years... but she's kinda a flake, so we'll see.

Tomorrow, I have no idea. If my friend got tix for Esthero, then we're going.

I feel like having a mellow weekend... last weekend was crazy and I partied hard on Wednesday night.
