Well, I'm glad there is some wine and Bass Ale drinking going on.

I'm having some homebrew and watching Boogie Nights.

Indeed...one of my favourites.

I'm also seriously missing my UK/Ireland alcohols. Man, you just can't get the good stuff here in the Canadian midwest. Did you go through some travellers' remorse or something as well?

Boy, did I. And it's not like I drink a lot, but it was the flavour I missed. You can just taste the difference. Though...I have found Czechvar here which is Budvar in the UK. Nice alcohol level, nice taste. Trader Joe's is my friend. ;)

Seriously, I don't know if it was the power of suggestion and the atmosphere and all that, but the Guinness just flat out tasted better in Dublin, and the ale I had in the UK was fantastic. I can't even remember the exact ones I had, but they were all beyond delicious. When I looked at all my pictures, roughly a third of them contained me and a glass of something. I guess I drink a lot, it was a fairly important part of my trip. Must try as much as possible.

I wish it wasn't so deliciously intoxicating. If it was diet coke, i'd be able to stop.

Speaking of coke, I'm on the seriously coked out part of Boogie Nights.

I've got some local beers here and a sixer of some homebrew a friend of mine gave me. It's not too bad actually. Good enough that if I gave you a pint unknowing, you probably wouldn't know it wasn't the real deal.

Bass ale is good though.

Damn right we are....

Boogie Nights climax scene just happened with Sister Christian, Russian Routette, Jesse's Girl and a whole lot of gunplay.

Rock!!!

Climax? I could use one of those. Oh wait...damn, I hate when I type my thoughts out.

Btw, I totally dig the Boogie Nights soundtrack.

heh...climax.

Do you have both BN soundtracks 1 and 2? I can hook you up if you're lacking in either?

One of the best end songs ever: Living Thing - ELO

I'll hook you up with BN2 tomorrow, check your PM sometime. I'm too drunk to find the MP3 disc it's on. I like the second one better, more personality.

How's your beer?

My 4th beer is great. Tania Fixation -- that's what mcaputo called me (doesn't it sound like a porn name?) -- is officially intoxicated.

And, Charlie, you're the best.

Awesome, you sound fine indeed. I just cracked my 4th as well. I'm mixing with my sangria so fun things are undoubtedly in store.

And I do my best to please.

Mmmm...sangria. Don't tell anyone but I bought a box of sangria at Target the other night. I dunno what made me do it, but I did. I felt so college freshman-like with my box of wine. Ha!

I make my own, 1 magnum of dry red, 1/2 cup rum, triple sec and sugar. Let it sit for the night, shave in some lemons and limes the next day, add a can of ginger ale and serve. It does the job.

I wish I drank this as a freshman.
