Lollapalooza Gathering (PLACE CHOSEN!)

For all those in the Chicago vicinity and Lollapalooza attendees, I need help in gathering the Obner tribe for July 22nd, Friday. I'm staying at the Best Western Grant Park and would like to meet up in a bar/restaurant within walking distance anytime after 8pm. However, I am more than happy to meet people for dinner earlier if you can't make it out later.

Also, this is good opportunity to let me (and others) know who'll be in attendance to that weekend's festivities.

I won't be attending Lollapalooza, but I'd be up for dinner or (maybe) a few drinks. I would normally be more willing to hit a bar or two but I'll be abusing my liver at my friend Kevin's wedding the next day.

It's directly across the street from Grant Park on Michigan Ave -- does that help?

Well it's in the south loop, but not far south. It's about three blocks south of the Chicago Hilton, which boasts a couple great little restaurants and an Irish bar/restaurant.

We're around the corner and down the street from us half a block is the Red line stop at roosevelt. A block south is Wabash Tap and a block south of that is Gioco(phil and shmoo met me there for my bachelorette dinner). Now if you want too go about three blocks south on Michigan of the Best Western and there's this great little Irish bar/restaurant whose name escapes me this moment. But it's highly recommended, though I've only been there on weekend afternoons. Food is great though.

I'll try and think of some more.

Just say the word. And provide direction if yes. I don't know Chicago well at all. In fact, have studiously avoided it.
