yeah, but the worst rated album we have is like an 8.4

we need some really crappy albums on here to even things out.

I mean, I'm looking at the Can album, knowing full well that i've owned it for 2 years or so and have listened to it lmaybe 4 times. Not only that, but i didn't like it all that much when i did listen to it. I know for a fact that other people consider it to be a great album and surely it's made some sort of significant impact on a lot of music that i do like.

so do i give it a 7 or do i give it like a 4. Are we giving the benefit of the doubt that we for the most part listn to uch better music than the average say, radio audience? should i save those 2 and 3s for someone that would put up true and utter crap?

You know there's more than one page, right cotton slacks? I was just on page 5, where ratings are in the 7's.

I say set your own criteria. I'm kind of just avoiding ranking albums (like Can for example) that I know are garbage but dont feel like I've heard enough to actually rank as such. Kid A and Amnesiac on the other hand got no love from me b/c I've listened to them plenty and just happen to think that they are incredibly sub-par.

I just discovered the "clown-a-nigga" feature where it shows what peoples' rankings are of an album. Brilliant!

would there be a way to rank multiple albums on the same page and not have to click "rate" for each one?

These need to be sorted into, Albums I have rated, Albums I have not Rated and the Rankings of all the albums rated by all. or something because stuff keeps moving around from page to page on the lists of albums.

Edit: and it took me like 3 minutes to find where you had put the word Charts since it blends in so well up there.

I know this sounds overly simple, but when you get the Information page to return, just hit your back button rather than clicking through. Works well.

I put You're Living All Over Me as "You're Living All Over Myself"...AGAIN. I ALWAYS say "myself" even though I've listened to the album 43923320 times. People will know what album it is, but it would be nice to have the correct title on there.

looking for an artist? don't know if it's "the smashing pumpkins" or without "the"? simply use the "%" wildcard.

in the above example, i search for "%smash%" and find 'em all.

what about a finction just to jump to any page, a la the rest of the boards?

I added Sticky Fingers twice and dont know how to edit it. Sorry, the board was a little iffy for me at that point.
