thought i'd share this, as i know some of you are fans of trip-hop. doesn't seem like there's anything new trip-hop out there anymore, until my friend told me about this.

check out this french trip-hop artist wax tailor... the new album is available for streaming. i'm fuckin amazed. let me know your thoughts. i'm gonna order this, but hopefully amoeba will have it, otherwise it's only available as an import.

RIYL: tricky (maxinquaye), portishead, dj krush

Dang.

The music video for "Our Dance" played on the Wedge last Friday. Shame I missed it. Will make sure to catch the rerun as I am intrigued.

i refuse to believe it until i see it. SUPPOSEDLY they are working on new material and SUPPOSEDLY it's due later this year, or next spring. something like that.

Damn that was good.

Video was awesome aswell. Charlotte Savary is one purty lady. She only as one track on the Wax Tailor album but she does have her own band called Clover. Firing up Slsk see if I can find any tracks.

Thanks for the tip.

Trip hop has been one stagnant genre lately.

That's pretty slick. The fish-headed creature sealed the deal for me.
