Yeah, I believe I bought it based on your recommendation. I got the one with the red reel-to-reel deck on the front. Definitely dig it.

Ya know, that makes me nervous...like when I start typing crap, somebody may actually listen. Just glad I didn't talk ya into buying something that you hate.

Just realized..I'm listening to Masha Qrella right now. It's called Unsolved Remained, came out this year on Morr Music and does sound quite a bit like Notwist, but with a chick singer. It's got a similar mix of electronics and acoustic instruments. It's a bit poppier though. May not be dark enough for Dusty, but you can hear samples at the Morr Music site.

I have since come to the conclusion that Markus Acher is a veritable Midas.

Dude. You do realize I listen to stuff like Pink and Kylie and Vitamin C, don't you? It doesn't have to be dark, it just usually is.

Will check it out. (Besides, I've learned how to do the old try-before-you-buy thing, and now that I'm on DSL, it doesn't take a millenium.)

It's a good indie-pop record recorded by Germans that like to add electronic music into the mix.
