great question. it's taken much, much longer than we had first anticipated. everything is recording. we've been redoing some lead vocals, mixing, and mastering at a fellow's studio, but he is also in a busy chicago band, so a lot of times our schedules don't click. but things are chugging along. i just want to get this fucking thing OUT. hopefully no later than fall.

but hey, at least all of the artwork for the disc is done!

the good things about recording an album yourself: free, no pressures to get it done so it doesn't cost so much, can work on whenever and whereever you want

a bad thing: no pressure to get it done, can work on it whenever you want.
