So, it looks like broadcast will have a new album out this year. I'm a big broadcast fan, so I can't wait. Here's to hoping it will be on par with haha sound!

P.S. I have been slowly getting my hands on their ep's -- if anyone is interested, I can YSI these.

Apparently there's a single due out in August: "America's Boy / Tender Buttons".

...And they will be touring.

I know they have a show planned for Toronto in September.

So excited.

I've been listening to Tender Buttons, there's definitely some good stuff on it and then some other stuff that I'm not diggin' so much. If interested in YSI version let me know.

Haven't given a close enough listen to the newness, but it seemed pretty strong. Props to Polly for turning me on to "Haha Sound".

Yeah, Tender Buttons has a little more focus on song structures, but yet the album comes off as a little more subdued than HaHa Sound. I wasn't as immediately taken with Tender Buttons, at least on first listen.

I want to hear their older stuff too. I've listened to Tender Buttons and the only song I like is America's Boy.

Please YSI.

Work/Non Work is their finest but I sense they're going downhill.

I've never gotten into Broadcast in the past, but after one listen to their new album, I'm interested in hearing their other work. The new album sounds like an unfocused, less structured (not always a bad thing) version of Stereolab. What sets this album apart from Haha Sound?
