Oh, Cotton. Have you not learned that contradictory statements are just "straight clowning"?

That goes under my hyperbole post, Cotton.

I know I said that, and pretty well mean it. I know what I like well enough to know that I don't need hear some stuff to say that to my ears, it is shit.

That's all fine and good, no one is saying you can't post what you want. But you knw how we roll, and when you put up OPEN GARBAGE, or albums that are unlistenable, or that no one has ever heard of, you're gonna get clowned. It's nothing personal, sometimes folks gotta get called on some ish, though, Drinks.

I think you would like that PooPoo Bear vs. The Ticklemonster album, PM if you want a copy.

I don't even feel like responding to this. I'll just let other people speak for me.

Exactly. I NEVER claimed to be consistent or make sense.

Haq, don't worry, at some point you'll understand the greatness of that PooPoo Bear album, and you will thank me for showing you the light.

And yes, Drinky, you do like OPEN GARBAGE. But at least you defend it. And for that you get props. Most everyone else just slinks back when confronted, or cries because people are being mean.

You're probably going to act like you knew this, but Poo-poo Bear is not a real album. It's a joke.

No, it is real...you're just not indie enough to know about it yet.

It is the sequel to their next album "Music for Child Molesters"

Haq, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this, but I'd like to be able to return to the page the album I ranked was originally on, not go all the way back to page 1.

I know absolutely nothing about creating websites and HTML, etc., but I think it would be cool to have it set up where when you click on a user's name (in the charts) it shows you their average rating....for example, if I had rated two albums and gave one a 10 and another a 1, it would show my average rating as 5.5.

I have no idea how hard that would be, and it's probably not something worth a lot of work, but if it's possible then it would be an interesting feature.

Haq,

This thing is pretty cool. I don't see anyway we can edit entries though. Like a moron, I was typing quickly and misspelled the Auteurs as the Autuers. I noticed right away but I didn't see any delete button so I entered the album again and typing fast again, f'ed up again same misspelling. So there are three entries for the same album, only one of which is spelled right.

Man I'm an idiot. Could you clean up my f' up or is there a way for me to do so myself that I'm not seeing?

Hey, sorry, I already screwed up -- I was trying to add Notwist albums, and I dated 12 as 1997 instead of 1995. Sorry.

Is there a way for anyone other than you (Haq) to correct this?

Not yet - it's on the way. I'll fix.
So just make sure you got his attention for now.

I just added The Smashing Pumpkins' entire discography under "The Smashing Pumpkins" but someone already did that under "Smashing Pumpkins." I'm so confused and blind.

I wish there was a way to delete albums we post by accident.

Shit, when I was deleting these dups, I accidentally deleted the "Adore" everyone had voted on. Sorry everyone, please revote once I get it added.

The reason you can't delete albums is (in theory, though I've just sort of brought it under question), some people may deleted an album they've posted and everyone's voted on for whatever reason, and everyone's votes will be lost.

Like I just did.

Went to Charts today, for first time in ages, and I have to ask -

is there any way to delete T.P. Warfare's votes and/or change them to frosted's (the second option for when it happens, as is rare, that Phil S. hasn't voted twice)? I think it might be difficult, granted, since you would probably have to delete entire album entries, in some cases, since T.P. Warfare put some of them up, but couldn't you just change posted by datum to frosted as well?

Welcome to last month. People calling him out on this and other things is why he's stopped posting so much. But yeah, it's stupid.

could you make it so you can go through the list of all the albums you've rated and re-rate them straight from there?

I'm still pretty disappointed that he didn't do anything about this himself.

I think most of the other "calling him out" stuff was bullshit, but this is totally valid. He kinda fucked up the charts.
