The last installment of the 2005 Summerfest Concert Series is none other than Jeff Tweedy's WILCO. 9th Street, right in front of The Blue Note, will be blocked off and turned into a makeshift outdoor venue complete with beer garden and good times. WILCO, downtown Columbia - what a great combination.

There has been such a derth of shows worth seeing here that I started to think I might have to move.

For Tweedy, it'll be like coming home. UT was practically the Blue Note house band when I was down there.

Of course, that was before they moved to 9th Street (for the most part).
