i've never seen them but I wouldn't spend $200 on any concert ever. i have moral issues paying more than $20. but hey, it might be an awesome show, so what do i know

i thought they put on a great show live, considering the style of music they play. it gets kinda slow (duh) but the drummer gets a huge sound outta those bastards.

i've seen them more than once--so it was good enough to pay for twice. the second time i was in teh back row of a steep theater and fell asleep for part of it which was actually kind of nice. . . like waking up from a dream.

I saw em twice...

once at irving plaza ( a standing venue)....people were passing out around me....heard rumors of strange acid being passed around that show...it was also super packed and hot in there, which is a more logical explanation. show was good.

then i saw them at the Beacon theater and i fell asleep.. no audience banter. they all sat on the floor and barely moved....unimaginative backdrop.. performance was good, but could have easily sat on my couch and saved 50 bux.

they didnt sound too different from their records either time, so id go in a little wary.

I wouldn't even listen to a full album for $200, let alone paying to see them.

the thing that sold the deal for me was this is the first time they've toured australia (in what, 6-7 years) and i am gonna prbly leave here soon too (into wilderness) so its pretty much an opportunity of a lifetime to see these scrawny crummy fags.

yeah i know. but i think on average, you the american indie-ish crowd see bands more regularly than we do. so it all evens out prbly.
