edit: I really get lumped in with that crowd because I don't love Spade being thrown out? Seriously? And I'm a pussy now too? Who are you, Sherrif Busty Brown all of a sudden?

No, this is actually in response to you telling me that you were afraid of me for a long time..because of my "persona" or whatever. in which case you get lumped in with these people, because I know, that in that time, just like on here, I had rational, even handed conversations with you.

I would expect you of all people to recognize a movie quote, Chris.

You know what made me leary of you way back when?

1. You're 7 feet tall, I'm 5.
2. Your speaking voice is 85 decibels, 5 short of a small aircraft engine.
3. In highschool and the year or two directly after, you were a very loud, aggressive dude. You have since mellowed somewhat.
4. You and I come to the same crowd from opposite sides. Deep down, I don't want to party. I'm not confident in myself, I don't like rooms full of people, and I don't take recreational substances. PLEASE do not misconstrue that as anything but a compliment, because I would trade for a lot of those qualities. But we meet somewheres in the middle, which only means it took a lot of contact for me to figure out that you weren't interested in grinding my bones to make your bread.

There was a party once, I wanna say when busty was livin with Burger or some shee, and you showed up. I remember you saying the word Fuckhole about 400 times at top volume, and me thinking "who the hell is that guy?!?" This was shortly before the brothers burger put on their infamous "puppet show" through the vertical blinds... (shudder)

Has no concept of time.

That was a party @ Burger's house while we were still in high school. And the "puppet show was @ the apartment it ATL.

Nice try though.

On second thought, while I still love ya, Squirggle..how the fuck do you think you, OR ANYONE can get away with dropping "You are loud and tall" so I was scared of you, in a thread that is for better or worse about PRE-JUDGING people based on appearance/skin color/ethnicity?

That's just as much a bunch of bullshit as anything Kurtz or Busty may have dropped.

:wtf:

...dude, you Were scary. Do you want me to apologize for being intimidated? Done. I ain't too proud. Ordinarily, I don't gravitate towards loud, brash personas. You're an exception, and not that you give a shit, but you eaned it the hard way. But whatever. Hats off... you've found a way to play victim. Oh, and for the record, I wasn't pre-judging you back then. I met you, and I judged you. It's different.

Oh, I understand that I can be a scary fucker...

I was just making a comment that I think it's kind of ironic that anyone would mention someone's physical characteristics in a thread about prejudice..my hat is off to you, Cap'n for finding a new way to offend.

I look forward to the day that you don't win an argument, which should be shortly after "never."

We really should've pulled off the Dr Evil / Mini-Me halloween idea.

When arguing, most people are encumbered by "logic" and the lack of a need to always be right, I, on the other hand, do not have this problem.

I actually see your point, but was drawing attention to something I found interesting, and of course, conveninetly overlooked by those who would be so quick to call others out about anything else. (This last piece not directed at Cap'n)

I know one person he would be willing to "lose" an argument to or at the very least concede the argument.

If you aren't willing then you aren't as smart as I thought you were.
