Saw 'em twice, but otherwise...ditto.

They're wonderful live. I like the multi-media thing they got going. But I saw them both before that wonderful album, (), came out, and they played a lot of material from it. And that's since become one of my favourite albums ever, so take that into consideration. Blissful.

Tickets are a lot more expensive in Aus and here, I just paid $60 for an Interpol ticket. But still, for $200 there better be some fucking fireworks.

I would imagine its pretty expensive to tour Australia if you are an American/European act.

But I like that a good many do.

I've paid $100 twice to se the Stones and nearly that to see Springsteen; not sure about that for Sigur Ros but if its what you wanna do, i don't think its unreasonable. Sometimes you gotta spend money to have fun..... 8)

That concert better come with a happy ending.

they opened with "gisoli" with that big see-through curtain and the big reflection of the drummer banging away and then closed with "[no.8]" with the same manner, woah woah

they put on one of the best shows i've ever seen.

Sigur Ros or Nouvelle Vague...they're both playing the same night, and don't tell me to see 'em both, because one's here in MD, the other's in PA.
