I also listened to 'Creek' today but I just don't get the adulation. It's nice enough but it's so one paced and same-y. I was really struggling to stay awake over the course of it's duration.

I'm glad to hear nice girls like ugly men with beards though. That's just the sort of chink of light I needed.

I've only had three albums on today. Iron & Wine, Ballboy and now Godspeed You Black Emperor.

A 2nd listen to Micah P. Hinson & The Gospel Of Progress. Anybody else heard this one? I'm a believer. In a big way. Superb music on a debut from a 22 year-old who is much more artistically developed than the age would have me think possible.
