As always, I am here.

My trusty drinking companion.

So how are you now? Do ye have a drink?

I'm finishing dinner, then crackin' a bottle of wine open.

It was only 103 here today. Little to no humidity, though. So I got that going for me.

2 screwdrivers, 1 Bass Ale down. A couple more to go. I'm with ya'.

Oh, BTW, tomorrow is the first day in 3 wks that I'll be able sleep in past 6:30a.m., and I plan on taking advantage of that fact.

It sounds like it's going to be a real brou-ha-ha here tonight. I'm about eight beer in, myself and feeling fine.

Sorry to hear of your $$ woes, T. Nothing like 'em to bring you down, eh?

Me? I'm broke- living off fumes from my NEXT paycheck, buying even more parts to replace worn out parts on my bike.

Working on a bike and drinking beer don't mix. I don't want to tackle replacing a derailleur cable, because I just don't feel like it, yet if I don't, I have to pay someone $10 to do it.

Money fuckin' sucks. My boss has offered to sell me the business, and I don't think I want it.

Hope things look up for you soon.

It's ok, Gary. I mean, the check HAD been sitting around for six years. It's not like I can't wait a couple of weeks more to get this resolved.

Hope things look up for you too, hon. Want some of my wine?

I just noticed that I'm close to 1900 posts, so, uh, anyone want some of my water? It's been sitting here since last night.

I've had 2 scotches, 2 beers, 2 glasses of wine, and up in 5 hours for a fishing tournament. I feel pretty good though cuz I got in about 3 hours of guitar playing tonight, which is rare in this house.

Aural,
I can relate, it looks like I am about to get a beatdown from this hurricane Emily, so I will spend the whole day tomorrow getting prepared...drank much last night, and you can bet I will drink heavily Sunday as the storm blows through.  If I still have a roof   and such I will post when the power returns Tuesday or Wednesday.
Drink of the night:
capriciana...2.5 oz rum, ice, 1/2 coke 1/2 soda, lime
Drink/relaxation aids for Sunday night: Hurricanes and mota

Mmmm...capriciana sounds tasty.

Seriously, though, Beachster, be safe out there on the island. I hope you sustain very little, if any, damage.

What? That's not a common thing in drinking water?

I'm drinking in spirit.

Not to be confused with "drinking in spirits".
