At work, I usually listen to Country or Rap or whatever I think will space out the brothers I work.

In the car: LOUD LOUD LOUD is all I need.

Oh and... and a little rant: I frickin' STRONGLY DISLIKE the idea of placing TV sets in the living room. TV always wins out and music listening losses. It's so lame.

I concur totally and extend this to the bedroom too, as I think that it cuts into the ...um, lovin'....

In my truck I bounce around between the talk radio circuit (mainly sports talk jabber but also all of the political talkers: Imus, Springer, Scarborough, Boortz, Rush, Franken, O'Reilly, et.al) and music; i've found that sense I got my ipod, i listen to more music in the car mainly because i can put on a good album or just SHUFFLE without all the fumbling around.

In the away-from-home offices its mainly sports talk or the occasional cassette from the bizarre collection in my desk drawe (examples The Fat Boys, Whodini, Love and Rocket, The Grateful Dead, Danzig, John Lee Hooker etc.)

At home, where I work and play, I have speakers everywhere and a network to blast sound there--- so I do. (sorry polly)

Until a couple of weeks ago, I played music at work most of the time. Our project trailers got taken away, I lost my office, and am now in a cubcile in operations building, so no more. At home, I listen mostly in the LR, because that's where the main system is, but the computer room also has a smaller system that gets played a lot.

In my truck, which doubles as my workplace. I also listen all the time at home, and have even gotten into wearing headphones to bed.

The wearing headphones to bed is a big one for me, since I tend to have a ton of trouble falling asleep.

I have a couple of favorite shows like anyone else, but in general TV depresses the shit out of me. It is my first time living with other people in awhile and gosh, some people watch so much frickin' TV. More so in Toronto than in Montreal. It makes me feel so white trash.
