I've heard a couple of songs from this band and was wondering if anyone has seen them live. If so, what were your impressions?

Is there a confusing number of 'pony' bands around at the moment or is it just me?

Who were those Canadian girls that wanted to get it on with 'Handsome Neil'. I pretty sure that wasn't The Ponys but Pony something else.

And shouldn't it be Ponies anyway? And why would anyone immigrate from a pony country to a non-pony country?

This thread just produces to many unanswered questions.

I saw them on Thursday and wasn't too impressed. Velouria loves them though.

On a related note, Trick Pony sang the National Anthem at the AA All Star game last tuesday in Mobile, and I have to say that were I to rank performances of the Star Spangled Banner, the all time worst would be:

1. Roseanne
2. Carl Lewis
3. Trick Pony

I do I like the debut from this band, and will agree with Rads that they ape Richard Hell a bit.
