A few months ago, the clue to final Celebrity Jeopardy was something like, "There were this many US Senators 50 years ago". All the celebrities were somehow involved in politics, I think (Tim Russert is the only one I remember), and yet none of them got the right answer.

I thought that was kind of sad.

EDIT: Searching Google, I found that the other two celebs were Christie Todd Whitman and Tavis Smiley.

48 *2 = 96

n'est-ce pas?

Whitman's a moron.

yeah that one seems pretty easy. there are still some jeopardy categories i suck at such as opera, questions on old television shows, and the rapists.

yeah, that was pretty easy, but i think that's one where you either got it immediately or not at all. and i forgot how it was phrased, but it didn't mention states because that'd've misleading. and how old are you that those license plates were around when you were in junior high? or was that just some exaggeration?

DM -- I have written them postcards or whatever the fuck you have to do try out to no avail. Its not like they just let schmoes in off the street ala The Price is Right.

Yeah, they were coming through Chicago last summer for Tryouts. I signed up on their website but never heard back. Apparently, they just randomly pick a bunch of folks who sign up and then you get to go take the test and so on.

Watching today's episode after not seeing him for a few games, looks like he's gotten coached.

Yeah, but I've begun to think he's just nervous rather than an ass.

I'd probably agree, but after 10 plus wins you gotta start to feel pretty confident.

i don't like the winner either (i'm behind on tivo'd episodes, so he might be gone by now) and i get pretty pissed off when he gets to go on to the next show after incorrectly answering the final jeopardy question. i know, i know, it's all about the money that's accumulated during the show, but what the fuck? if the girl on the end gets it right, she should go on to the next episode, not that socially inept tard.

<------ jealous that she can't be on jeopardy

the answers are only easy if you know the questions

I mean nervous about being the center of attention, not about winning.

He's won 13 in a row, so it's probably the same guy you've seen.

Or the questions are only easy if you know the answers.
