Here is our loving tribute to Mark Clark...

[img][650:487]http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b259/bobsixtysix/mfidodal.jpg[/img]

The four of us got together last night for a B-B-Q dinner, followed by brews at a local Irish pub. Good times were had by all. Plenty of scintillating discussion regarding J.D. Souther, The Us Festival, Procol Harum's second album, the convergence of Barry Switzer's insomnia and valium addiction, reasons why Robin Williams should never play the villain, and reminiscing about taking dates to Creed and N*Sync concerts.

All in all, it was yet another IMMENSELY successfully Obner gathering! I'd like to personally welcome both Idiopathic (Patrick) and marianfudge, a.k.a. doppleganger hoochie-mama (Tommy) to The Fracturnity. Here's the updated list of members, in alphabetical order:

1. aerodynamics
2. aFreshStart4Me
3. AMPERSAND
4. Aural Fixation
5. babe
6. billy g
7. Charli_lady
8. Chuck D
9. cybin
10. Damen (a.k.a. dubwise)

18. marianfudge (a.k.a. doppleganger hoochie-mama)
19. mayhole
20. mojo
21. newt
22. NeZ
23. OPA!
24. robotboy
25. saved (a.k.a. Stop Breathin')
26. shiv

It's never too late, my friend! You'll be getting the same gift pack I gave last night's new inductees. What time will you be available for such hijinks on 8/13?

Tommy is priceless in that pic AND I'm feeling left out of this Fracturnity thing despite having met half the members in person. Get your company to go international, Bob!

Definitely some nice guys from last night. I enjoyed my food and beers and the general banter.

Can't wait to listen to Bob's cds, but I only brought an ipod with me to Tejas.

Thanks for organizing this, Shawn and Bob. My first cmj/obner meet-up.

Your gonna have to put on your Mr Stanely safari suit, pith helmet combo and go real deep into the jungle to get me on that list.

Cool. I'll let you know if they ever send me over there for anything work-related, so we can hop over to Darrin's and celebrate Scotchtoberfest!

Yes, sir. What time will you be arriving in A-TX that day? I'm thinking nighttime activities will be best, what with me and Shawn driving all the way down from Dallas that day, and the oppressive heat, and the screaming, and the panting, and the moaning, and the [jerry lewis and/or prof. frink]GLAVIN!!![/jerry lewis and/or prof. frink]!

i think we're getting in at like 3 or 4, so nighttime activities would be prime for me to check in to the san jose, throw a fit about not tuckng the sheets in, and take a quick dip before meeting up. I'll check the tickets when i get home.

Yes, a dashiki is an interesting choice.

That's not the only interesting shirt in the picture...
