Suspected suicide bomber shot dead on Tube

Breaking news at 11.54am: A suspected suicide bomber has been shot dead by police at Stockwell Tube station in south London.

The man was shot five times by police at close range, a passenger on the Northern Line train said.

There were unconfirmed reports that the suspect was one of the attackers involved in yesterday's incidents

Dude jumped the ticket gate, ran down the escalator, was told to stop and didn't. If he's not linked, he's suspicious of something.

good point.....he's guilty of something. maybe they'll find that he's tied to these terrorists, and gather more information on them. maybe not. either way, the police sorted him out.

And while British police dont usually carry firearms, these guys were apparently anti-terrorism dudes, not your run of the mill bobbies. (likely carrying an arsenal of semi-auto pistols and submachine guns, concussion grenades, "Chemical Billy" tear gas bombs, etc.)
