You'll be bored with family at some point today, and you'll check this board, just like me, so here's a poll to occupy you for 2 seconds.

Stu. Ffing.

I've been known to eat crunchy uncooked Stove Top right out of the canister. The Lays people need to market a stuffing snack and call it Stuff.

I was kinda sad when I got to my aunt's and I asked where the green bean cassarole was and my aunt goes "oh, that's at christmas". But I got home and someone had brought some over here. Yum.

I've heard of turducken, but i've never actually heard of anyone who's seen, tried, prepared, or otherwise served this dish ever.

yep, yep...excellent choice. However I must insist on no coconut. Not wild about the inclusion of walnuts or pecans either but a compromise I'm willing to live with. Sweet potato soufffle is like getting to eat dessert first. The BEST! Can't wait for Christmas to do it again.

I had to vote stuffing as well.

And yes, we had a Tofurkey on the table again this year (vegan in-laws)--it's really not that bad, but certainly does not replace the real thing.

Phew! I thought I was the only one voting for pumpkin pie. As much as I love it, I sacrified having any for Thanksgiving this year. Weight Watchers 'n' all...sigh. It was a good sacrifice, though, I lost 4.6 lbs this week. Yay!

At one point I"m pretty sure that if pumpkin pie was made without the crust, that Weight Watchers counted it as a vegetable. Could be wrong of course, having never been on it. On occasion I should have given it some thought though!

You're right, Jim. WW gave me a crustless pumpkin pie recipe last week. But, c'mon, what's pie without crust?

I voted for Mashed Potato because it's a food and a dance.

I've never had pumpkin pie. Besides, I can make a dessert any time I want, but I'm not a fantastic cook, so the only time I get to have the good "mommy's" stuffing is on Thanksgiving. If only the woman would write the damn recipe down.
